Castle Pines Village is a luxury gated community located to the south of Denver. Castle Pines is slightly further from downtown Denver than many of the city's commuter suburbs, but it is still relatively easy to commute into the city. The Denver Technology Center is a lot closer, and it also attracts many commuters from Castle Pines.

The Castle Pines neighborhood is characterized by award-winning architecture, superb amenities and well-preserved natural beauty. The development of the area has been carefully planned in order to ensure that the residents would be able to enjoy life in a caring community where they could lead an active lifestyle amid some of the Denver area's best designs and landscapes. The neighborhood is situated on the northern side of Castle Rock, providing spectacular views of the mountains and pine forests that make up the Colorado landscape.

The community is set among some of the most spectacular scenery in the Denver area, on the tableland of the front range, where dramatic formations of rock breakthrough the soil and magnificent pine trees cluster together along the mountainside. The natural environment in the area has been carefully preserved during the development of Castle Pines, and is home to many native species including elk, beaver bears and numerous species of birds.

Although families with young children do not make up the majority of the residents of Castle Pines Village, there is a younger community within the neighborhood. These children are well provided for with a range of excellent schools nearby and the recreational facilities within the gates of the community itself. The tennis courts, park and swimming pool are all particularly popular with the local children.

The Castle Pines Homes Association organizes a number of events throughout the year, including picnics, tennis socials, concerts, movie screenings in the park and special events such as a parade for the Fourth of July and an Easter egg hunt. Residents of the area can join various clubs in order to get together with like-minded neighbors. There are book clubs, an art group, a garden club and a hiking club, among many others.
