Castle Pines North: A City Surrounded By Nature

Castle Pines North is one of the greenest and most attractive communities in the Denver area. In addition to the open space within the city itself, there is a huge amount of undeveloped countryside in the surrounding area, most of which has been set aside as parks and areas of protected wilderness, and will therefore stay in its current pristine state.
Castle Pines North became an incorporated city as recently as 2008, making it the newest city in the region. Creation of a city from the neighborhood has been carefully managed in order to preserve the spirit of the local community and prevent it from becoming over commercialized.
The Castle Pines North neighborhood is primarily residential, but there are nearby commercial areas where residents can go shopping or enjoy a night out. The communities of Castle Rock and Lone Tree offer the best selections of stores, restaurants and other entertainment, in the vicinity, although it is also easy to visit downtown Denver. Many of the residents of Castle Pines North commute into the city of Denver for work, or make the shorter journey to the nearby Denver Tech Center.
Castle Pines North is a child-friendly community and is very popular with families as well as with commuters. The Castle Pines North community is the ideal place in which to raise a family, with plenty of open space and access to recreational facilities. A number of children's sports teams are organized in the community, along with other family oriented activities and events. The neighborhood is served by some excellent schools as part of the Douglas County school system, one of the best in the region.
Various community events are held in the neighborhood, usually organized by the Castle Pines North Master Association. Residents of Castle Pines North do not have their own recreation center, but there are several centers in neighboring communities that they can use, although they will be required to pay non-resident fees. Most of the recreational amenities in the neighborhood relate to sports and outdoor activities.
The surrounding area contains some of the most spectacular scenery in the regions, with mountains, pine forests and magnificent outcrops of rock. Residents of Castle Pines North have plenty of opportunities to enjoy all of this since their local area contains an excellent system of trails as well as some beautiful parks, including Coyote Ridge Park and Castle View Park.
One of the largest areas of open space in the county lies right alongside Castle Pines North. This area, which includes Daniels Park, Cherokee Ranch and the highlands Ranch Open Space, is protected against any future development, despite the continuing growth of Denver and its suburbs. This means that the residents of Castle Pines North will always have the same beautiful views upon which to look from their homes, and the wide open spaces in which to enjoy an active lifestyle.
The luxury gated community of Castle Pines Village is also nearby, along with its golf courses. Homes in Castle Pines North get many of the same amazing views as those in Castle Pines Village, but they are a lot more affordable.
